Anamarija Jurčev Savičević is a doctor of medicine, primarius, specialist in epidemiology with a professional focus on disease prevention and control and health promotion as routine work tasks. She works at the Teaching Institute of Public Health of the Split-Dalmatia County as the Head of the Scientific Unit and Head of the Department of Epidemiology of Respiratory Infections. As a field epidemiologist, she is deeply involved in various outbreak control activities. At the university level, she is a full professor at the University of Split, holding a dual appointment as Chair of the Department of Public Health at the School of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Full member of the Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences.
