Dr Ivana Grubiša is an Assistant Research Professor at the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering, University of Belgrade. She is skilled in medical genetics especially in cytogenetic and molecular genetics, with a research focus on the genetic basis of common and rare diseases. Dr. Grubiša is experienced in employing cytogenetic techniques, such as G-banding and karyotype analysis from various specimens and cell cultures, as well as molecular genetic methods, including PCR, clinical exome sequencing, and whole exome sequencing. Additionally, she has participated in science promotion through the 7th Framework Programme (FP7), the European Union’s research funding initiative (Researcher’s Night). Because of her experience in next-generation sequencing and scientific outreach, Dr. Ivana Grubiša will contribute to WP1, WP2, WP4, WP5, and WP6.
