Dr. Dubravka Brdar

Dr. Dubravka Brdar graduated from the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine in 1996. She completed her internship at the University Hospital of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County Health Center. Until 2011, she worked in emergency medicine and general practice. In 2003, she completed postgraduate studies in Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine in Zagreb. In 2014, she specialized in Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospitals of Split and Zagreb. Since 2018, she has been Head of the Department of Functional Radiobiochemical Diagnostics and Treatment at the University Hospital of Split. She earned her PhD in 2022 with a thesis on the influence of nutrition on thyroid hormones and bone remodeling. Since 2012, she has been an external teaching associate at the University of Split, School of Medicine, and in 2024, she was appointed full assistant professor at the same institution. She has participated in Croatian Society of Health Research projects on thyroid and parathyroid regulation.
