Dr Aleksandra Dragicevic holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (biomedical focus) and serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Agriculture, where she teaches courses in robotics, automation, IoT, and AI in biosystems. From 2025, she is a advisor for AI in health at the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Serbia (C4IR Serbia), where she leads initiatives focused on the ethical, regulatory, and strategic implementation of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Her responsibilities include developing frameworks for the secondary use of health and genetic data, designing a Trusted Research Environment model for Serbia, and supporting national AI projects, Testbed and Development of the Implementation Plan for AI in the healthcare sector of Serbia. She also contributes to legal and policy analyses related to cloud computing in healthcare, and the creation of practical guides for AI researchers and startups working with biomedical data.
