InnoThyroGen Summer School of Bioinformatics
Join us at the beautiful Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MedILS), University of Split, for the InnoThyroGen Summer School of Bioinformatics, an immersive, hands-on, interdisciplinary training workshop focused on identifying novel pharmacogenetic markers for thyroid disease therapy.
🗓️ September 1–5, 2025
📍 MedILS, Split, Croatia
Participants will engage in practical sessions covering:
- Introduction to Linux command line and Python programming language;
- AI-driven analysis of scientific literature;
- Fundamentals of the next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows;
- Bioinformatics analysis of genomics data from short-read processing and variant calling to variant annotation and interpretation;
- Advanced bioinformatics approaches for pharmacogenomics, integrating computational and molecular insights to drive personalized treatment strategies.
The School is organized as part of the Horizon Europe project InnoThyroGen – an EU-funded initiative dedicated to advancing innovative, personalized solutions for thyroid disease diagnosis and treatment.
